Make no mistake about it: 2020 is difficult. And as I write this, the spread of COVID-19 seems to go unbated. In the United States alone, millions have fallen ill, nearly a quarter-million people have died, and we are hurting economically and socially. I am hopeful that Spring 2021 will bring of us a fresh start.
Go to https://gcccd.instructure.com/login/canvas and type in your username and password to log into Canvas.
After enrolled in a course, it may take up to 24 hours for it to appear in your Canvas Dashboard. My POSC courses are already published, so you should be able to see them.
The "Getting Started" Module, along with "Our Textbook and Resources", "Supporting Your Success", and "Course Policies", are loaded with information help you be successful.
iPoliSci Workshops are 30-minute Zoom meetings scheduled Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday at 7:30pm, 8:00pm, and 8:30pm. These workshops offer you an opportunity to connect with Dr. Franco and your classmates.
The Cuyamaca College Political Science Club meets every Wednesday from 8:30pm to 9:00pm via Zoom. If you are interested in participating, please register here. Also, the Club will be hosting events and workshops throughout the semester, so stay tuned.

2020 is an unprecedented year: a global pandemic, virus-induced economic recession, reemergence of calls for racial justice, the election of a new President of the United States, and an uncertain future.
I'll be the first to admit it: 2020 was straining. To help with a fresh start in Spring 2021, if you or a family member or friend needs to complete a Political Science course, I am offering the following CSU and UC transferrable courses this upcoming Spring 2021.
1st 8-week session: February 1, 2021 to March 27, 2021
2nd 8-week session: April 5, 2021 to May 29, 2021
Semester session: February 1, 2021 to June 7, 2021
Times are hard, but I continue to welcome you in joining me in any of these courses. My courses are designed to be informative and practically meaningful. And I strive to be helpful and flexible to meet students where they are.
